Scholarship Fund
A $200,000 scholarship funds to benefit about 200 students of color who are in danger of expulsion from colleges due to lack of continued funding for their education. Most of these students are first generation college students who have the potential of completing their education, secure a high paying job, and move their families out of the circle of perpetual poverty.
The recipients of the scholarship funds that we seek are being identified with the collaboration of financial aid administrations at mostly historically black institutions. Your generous contributions would go a long way to reduce the poverty rates among people of color in general. The individuals that you support with your generosity would be hopeful to live a life of financial independence.
The Foundation awards the scholarship to recipients in the month of June yearly to enable them to purchase their essential Fall semester needs or supplement their tuition, room, and board. With grateful hearts, we are asking that your generous donations be sent by June 15, 2021 to The Moremi Foundation, 521 Butternut Street, NW, Washington DC 20013.
