Our Fundraising Objective

Raise Funds to support the various initiatives of the Egbe Omo Yoruba, National Association of Yoruba Descendants in North America, including, but not limited to the following:

  1. Scholarship program for students who attend college in North America, as well as Yoruba students in Nigeria
  2. Support for a future agricultural processing plant in Yorubaland
  3. Provide support for the Egbe’s annual SAT/ACT preparatory programs
  4. Provide support and assistance to the promotion of cultural and language worldwide
  5. Provide support for health mission trips sponsored by the Egbe in Nigeria
  6. Support the actualization of Oyotunji Village,  a highly recognized Yoruba village in South Carolina, USA
  7. Provide support for Adoption of schools  for School supplies, renovation of  school building  in Nigeria.
  8. To provide support for building a self-sustaining and all–embracing Yoruba Cultural House

The Moremi Foundation shall be the pre-eminent fiscal agent and non-profit fundraising tool of the Egbe Omo Yoruba National Association (EOYNA) North America.

The Moremi Foundation is to become a viable fundraising organization that is financially self-sufficient to successfully fund various needed projects of EOYNA in North America
Donating to Moremi helps provide funding for programs like the Egbe Omo Yoruba, North America’s Scholarship program. As you know, students struggle to find funds to cover the cost of attending college. Our program will assist eligible students to attain their college education, while also educating them on our rich Yoruba culture. Additionally, the donations will be used for the self-sustaining and all-embracing Yoruba Cultural House.
Donations are tax exempt. Your generous donations entitle you to a charitable contribution deduction against your income tax. Please give generously.
Any form of contribution accepted including Cash, Grants, and Deeds.

We Are Building a Community

In addition to our ongoing impact, we create awareness to causes that transform our communities and change lives.

A self-sustaining and all-embracing Yoruba Cultural House, an edifice to protect and project our culture/civilization to the world and lay the foundation of resilient institutions and self-sufficiency through the establishment of Yoruba Academy of Art and Science and Institute of Yoruba Culture and Civilization.

The Dream self-sustaining Yoruba Cultural house will contain physical space for:

  • Events center (Moremi Hall) to serve the Yoruba community
  • Administrative offices and meeting/seminar space
  • Retail and concession space for tailoring, catering, and hair salon
  • Cultural center to teach the community about Yoruba language and culture and to share information
  • Yoruba heritage museum
